The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team within the Integrated Justice System (IJS) Programme hosted its EA Workshops on 17 April 2025, convening stakeholders to advance a unified and strategic architecture framework across the Programme.
As the custodians of the IJS architectural vision, the EA team designed these sessions to move beyond technical planning and into meaningful cross-departmental engagement. The goal was is to align collective efforts and ensure that every department is working toward the same strategic direction.
Sharing Progress, Building Momentum
The EA team used these sessions to share updates on current EA initiatives across the IJS Programme, giving stakeholders a transparent view of progress, priorities, and areas requiring collaborative attention.
Integration at the Core
System integration remains one of the Programme's most complex undertakings. The workshops opened honest dialogue around both the opportunities and challenges that arise when connecting diverse departmental systems, allowing the EA team to better understand on-the-ground realities and plan accordingly.
Aligning Priorities with Strategic Vision
A key responsibility of Enterprise Architecture is ensuring that departmental priorities do not drift from the broader IJS strategic objectives. These sessions provided the EA team with a direct platform to facilitate that alignment and address potential gaps early.
Architecting the Future
The EA team also led discussions on future-state architecture and governance models, anchored firmly in the IJS Digitisation and Modernisation Strategy. These conversations ensure that the Programme's architectural decisions are deliberate, coordinated, and future-focused.
Through these workshops, the EA team continues to play a central role in shaping a justice system that is integrated, modern, and built to serve.
